TERESA CERVANTES
Teresa Cervantes is an interdisciplinary artist based in Providence, RI with roots in El Paso, TX. She received an MFA from the Tyler School of Art and a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Working both collaboratively and on her own, as an artist and as an educator, Cervantes’ multiple practices are committed to exploring the ways she can shape inevitable change. Often this occurs via a combination of performance, object making, interceptive installations and a sharp sense of humor.
